OUR LESSONS
The Naranaya communities Education is focused on sustainability, creativity, and community involvement. Students are taught foundation based academics, such as Math, Science and English, following a mix of the Cambridge and Waldorf education, however the school places a strong emphasis on project based learning, critical thinking skills and real world problem solving.

For example, students might learn about principles of physics by building a bamboo bridge, or learn about biology by growing their own food in the school's organic garden. Naranaya´s education is filled with many creative and adventurous elements. These elements include art and creation, learning through exploration, dancing, music, water work, mud building games, woodwork and bamboo, natural games as well as crafts with recycled materials.
Naranaya community aims to provide quality education to both Thai and international students from all over the world, from Preschool through to primary.

EVERYDAY CLASSES
English Class
Our dedicated English department incorporates English learning throughout the day in a fun and interactive way. During our daily scheduled English language studies we teach all three levels these are beginner, intermediate and advanced level and study the language with more of an academic approach.
Naranaya teach students of all levels and ages from all over the world. In our classes, we help kids according to their learning goals and needs. We design the lessons based on what the students are looking for such as grammar, pronunciation, speaking, listening and reading to communicate better and effectively in English.
We are passionate about teaching and we love learning about different cultures. Our lessons are fun, relaxed, easy-going and comfortable. In this way, our students practice English without feeling intimidated or pressured.
Our goal is to boost confidence so that kids will communicate better in every situation.
Environment
Children’s appreciation for nature develops at a young age, so we decide to begin environmental education for kids as early as possible.

The Environmental science activities enables the child to understand the environment around, as well as the people fulfilling the different needs of the community. The child is exposed to the basic ideas of geography, botany, zoology and fundamental science experiments to understand some natural phenomena.
Math Class - Numbers and Shapes
Math is important and it's important to help young children develop their mathematical thinking. A child's math knowledge at the start of kindergarten predicts later academic achievement better than early reading or attention skills.
Math is part of children's everyday lives, supports development of the brain, and creates problem solving perspective. We introduce children variety of numbers and shapes games and practices so they can enjoy it and get deeper interest in the field.
Science
Science encourages and teaches children how to discover and wonder about everything in the world around them. Scientific thinking and the desire to explore and investigate can be used to your advantage in the classroom.
Science helps children develop key life skills, including an ability to communicate, remain organized and focused, and even form their own opinions based on observation. Science also helps children develop their senses and overall awareness.

Sports Class
Engaging in sport is important for more than just physical fitness. Playing sport often means being part of a team and this allows for building skills in a whole range of areas. As well as learning all of the techniques involved in the sport, children can also develop their life skills. Playing team sports encourages cooperation and sharing, resilience, goal setting and building relationships. Learning to lose is also an important skill that’s often uncovered through playing sport.
Textile Art Class
By starting children working with textiles at a young age you nurture their ability to solve problems, develop numeracy, increase fine motor skills and, most importantly, be creative! Crafts like knitting, crocheting, weaving and sewing are great introductions to making for children.
Sketching & Painting Class
Drawing and sketching activities allow children to explore colors, line curvature, length and direction, how lines can be used to draw shapes and how how shapes can be. It develops their imagination and builds their confidence.
Clay & Mud Class
Clay and Mud art class is a creative form that inspires kids to play with natural resources and think outside the box. Using clay can help kids explore ideas creatively, improve physical dexterity and fine motor coordination, and problem-solving skills.
Natural Class
Natural class is helping children to connect with abundance found all around the nature and natural resources in a creative and joyful way.
Class is every Friday.
Baking Class
Preparing foods with children is not only fun but teaches responsibility, good nutrition and provides sensory and tactile learning experiences.
Baking can also encourage scientific curiosity, creativity and collaboration. Working in a kitchen together to create food helps form bonds and develop relationships and children learn to be more comfortable with food. It can make them healthier eaters.

After lunch classes
Singing & Music Class
Music ignites all areas of child development and skills for school readiness, including intellectual, social-emotional, motor, language, and overall literacy. It helps the body and the mind work together. Exposing children to music and singing during early development helps them learn the sounds, meanings of words, develops sensitivity to the beauty of the music and supports their sense of the self.
Theater Class
Theater class enables the development of imitation and imagination skills of the child; it provides an understanding of the instructions given during activities and remembering them later, thus developing perception and memory, attention and concentration. In a safe and fun environment kids are encouraged to explore new roles and situations of life.
